The Bürgenstock Selection brand manages iconic luxury hotels and residences in Switzerland’s most beautiful destinations: Lake Lucerne, Bern and Lausanne. All properties convey rich heritage, elegant design, leading spas and exceptional culinary offers, yet remaining unique and full of individuality in their destinations. The Bürgenstock Selection hotels: Bürgenstock Hotels & Resort Lake Lucerne with the Waldhotel Health & Medical Excellence, the Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa, and the Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa Lausanne.

To join our central Marketing team, we are looking for a savvy Digital & Social Media Specialist to support the overall digital strategy & implementation alongside the hotels’ teams. 

 

Digital & Social Media Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Optimising the Bürgenstock Selection’s Digital Marketing at Group level (Websites, SEM, Social Media)
  • Synthesising datasets across digital touchpoints and issuing concrete recommendations to drive brand awareness, engagement and conversion
  • Overseeing the external digital agencies which supports The Bürgenstock Selection for the above topics
  • Working closely with colleagues and external specialists, especially those working in content marketing, content management, social media, advertising
  • Acting as an internal champion for data-driven optimisation in digital marketing producing monthly reports on Google Analytics, SEO and Social Media performance together with external agencies
  • Be responsible for daily web agency requests coming from hotel partners as well as knowledgeable of websites CMS to assist with changes in a dynamic and proactive way
  • Be the champion for social media content calendars as well as brand content to be published on website
  • Updating and managing photography database for digital usage
  • Owning the social media guidelines and ensuring the right usage of pictures, copy is well implemented by hotels and agency

 

Qualifications:

  • At least five years' experience of driving end-to-end analytics initiatives across digital user journeys (including paid display, web, social media, newsletters, and UX analytics)
  • In-depth knowledge of implementing SEO initiatives and processes and managing agency campaigns
  • Copywriting skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills
  • Deep sense of curiosity about how people use digital channels and how data can uncover relevant insights about issues and opportunities to improve their experiences
  • Creative lateral thinker who enjoys brainstorming innovative solutions
  • Passionate about new technologies and how they contribute to the marketing strategy
  • Insight gained from working on both the client and agency sides would be a plus
  • Fluent in English and German (French is a plus)
  • Experience in luxury hospitality is a plus
